Look Out for Scam Correspondence from Washington’s Secretary of State

Posted:

Clients,

This is a link to correspondence several of our clients received and forwarded to us for review.  Although it looks real, we believe this to be a scam and therefore, you should not respond to it.  You can usually find errors in scam emails.  For example, this one misspells “Corporations.”  Sometimes, just looking at where the email comes from can tell you if it is a scam.  We would recommend you contact your I.T. employee if you have one and ask them to block any future emails.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Carney Badley Spellman attorney.
